Warm Tag

Hi all, Kerry here, just popping on quickly to show you some more inspiration with Paperartsy stamps which can be found in the shop here.  The tag was blended with paint, little bits at a time and lots of layers, then when completely dry I sanded some areas to reveal the lower layers.  Next I stamped with Versafine ink the paperartsy images. The moth was stamped on Clearly for Art plastic that had already been blended with paints, then I used a heat gun, moulded the plastic before it set hard.

Hope it gives you all some inspiration to keep on crafting :-)  Don't forget there is another week of New Goodies over on our challenge blog and you will be in with a chance to win some Kenny K digi stamps, how cool is that.
Happy Crafting :-)

Art Journal - Dylusion sprays

Hi all, back again to show a page in my art journal using Dylusion Sprays (shop here) and Indigo Blu stamps (shop here).  I used gesso on my page before I used the sprays, the thing I love about the sprays they re-act with water, so if you put a stencil down, spray with water, they leave a minute and mop up, you see a type of bleach effect, fantastic.  I also used some cosmic shimmer sprays for sparkle as well :-)  Hope it inspires you to start a journal, this is my first one and my first page and trust me I just loved to play, just for me no one else :-)

I found it easier to put something under the page as I worked (picture below) also I used the other side of the page to add ink transfer etc so it has some colour when I do that page :-)

Don't forget that our next challenge over on our challenge blog starts tomorrow morning at 9am GMT time.

Birdy Tag

Hi all, Kerry here, I meant to finish this tag to show you all a couple of days ago but ended up shopping in the sales instead lol.  This tag uses stamps from Paperartsy and Indigo Blu which you can find in the shop here and the tag background was made with Dylusion Sprays (here) and the salt technique which I popped on here the other day :-)

The birds where stamped onto patterned paper that was sprayed with the sprays and the ribbon was also sprayed.  The leaves are from the Paperartsy stamps Flora and Fauna 3 (here), which I coloured in with a black promarker and outlined with a white pen.

Hope your all having a fantastic weekend.  Happy Crafting :-) Kerry xxx

Dylusion Sprays and Salt!!!!!

Hi all, Kerry here, back again lol.  Thought I would show you a quick tutorial, well actually it's step by step of what I did as this was the first time I had a go :-)
All you need is Dylusions Sprays (here in the shop) mind you other sprays would work as well, some rock salt and I used water colour card.

I certainly think I need a new spray box lol, better ask
hubby to look out for a suitable box.
I have used lots of scrap paper as you really need to
saturate the paper with ink, you can also use
water to tone down the bright colours but I like
the bright so I didn't use any water.  My other half said next
time I raid the cupboard can I pre worn him so he can
by some cheap rock salt not Saxa lol lol

The minute you spray you need to add the salt, if any bits are dry
re-spray or add water as it needs to be wet for the salt to react

Close up of salt just added

I have done a load in batches

Close up of some of the colours I used

When dry (I left them overnight) rub the salt off.  The I die cut
some tags, ATC's and labels

So why don't you treat yourself to some of these lovely Dylusion sprays and have a go.  I shall be back tomorrow with a tag I have done with one of the tags above :-)

Happy New Year - Plus last Xmas Tag

I shall be back tomorrow with a tag that I am in the middle of using the amazing Dylusion Sprays which are here in the shop :-) and some rock salt, which I'm afraid you might have to buy at your local supermarket as Lisa doesn't sell condiments lol lol.

Hope you all had a fantastic crafty New Years Day.  Happy Crafting :-) Kerry xxx
